I would treat the feelings you know to be false kind of like anxiety and just do what you would like anyway. Over time the doing should ease the feelings of shame as nothing "bad" happens, no one jumps up and yells at you for doing them, etc. Talk back to the shame; it's vague and you are much "smarter" than it is and can articulate and argue with it whereas it cannot logically argue back. Make fun of it.
