I'm sorry that you're at a low point.

Have you noticed your mood lowering as these days have passed, or was it simply waking one day super-depressed for no apparent reason?

I'd recommend talking with your doctor about what you've been experiencing. I do have personal experience of fearing being medicated. I was pretty upfront about that with my doctor. The doctor was more careful on the med he tried and the dosage. As time passed, I needed medications for other chronic medical illnesses and quickly adjusted to side effects.

I've since grown over my anxiety about medications. I'm not happy to be on them, or eager to try new ones, but I've accepted that it's what I need to do to feel and be more healthy.
