Soup, I can't begin to know what all is going on in your life right now. But I've done what you are about to do and I just want to give you some things to think about:

I noticed you said you "quit" therapy. You did not use the term...need a break...stopping... Are you sure you aren't running away from dealing with the tuff stuff... because if that is the reason you could back off the intensity of the therapy for a while..

I've found that the life stuff has not been easier to deal with by myself and it was probably helpful to have dealt with some of it in therapy.

Also you mentioned adding past stuff will not make life stuff easier to deal with. The past stuff is still there. What we bury we bury alive. Its not going anywhere...so now you will have life stuff, past stuff, disappointment from quitting, self doubt, and missing your T. terribly to deal with (basing on my experience)..

My suggestion is to go talk to your T. about it all. And "Un Quitting" is so easy!

Soup I stopped therapy and I'm still around. You don't have to leave.
Thanks for this!
