Talking points/questions:
1. To what were you referring when you said, "It is not the way God intends us to live"?
2. What changed between Friday when you made the above statement and Monday when you emailed, "Why would God want you to deny your true self"?
3. Are you capable of respecting beliefs that differ from your own?
4. Under what circumstances can I email you?
5. Am I allowed to email you if I am truly in crisis (as I was last weekend)?
6. If not, what should I do?
7. My H wants to know how to help me be able to tolerate not being able to ask you a question in-between sessions or have a misunderstanding like the one I apparently had last weekend.
8. How can I cope if I do not have access to my natural support system (i.e. H is working, friends are unavailable, I'm working out of town, etc.).

I'd add:
9. Do you believe that homosexuality/bisexuality (i.e., "sin") can lead to MI or SI?
I'd put this up with 1-3, which I'd focus on more during the session as 4-8 become irrelevant if she's unwilling to accept you as you are! for 3, I'd ask not only respect these beliefs, but also be able to help me work through some of my issues relating to them--this was the big thing that you wanted to focus on in therapy starting Friday.

In your pocket and sending you lots of hugs!
Thanks for this!
