Apparently this "thing" that caused all the fuss is explained this way...

We all have what are called arachnoid granulations in our brain. Most, if not all, run along a "someting sinus". Anyhow, what they saw in my daughter's brain was one of those. It's a malformation. This one was just much larger than the average and in the wrong place. It will never bother her in her life.
