Bluemountains, I really can relate. I feel like my meds do a great job of keeping the hypomania away, while still letting in some depression. How I wish that it were the other way around!

I actually did skip a few doses in hopes of getting hypomanic a few weeks ago, and...I ended up more depressed. So I don't recommend skipping your meds, because the pendulum may just swing in the wrong direction.

Bipolarmedstudent, nice to meet you. I'm a bipolar pre-med student. I'm really scared that I won't get in, haha. Anyway, I only get hypomanic, and while hypomania can interfere with my productivity on occasion (though more often it helps me to get things done), it feels so good that I really don't mind.
