I can relate to what you've written.
You've learned to cover your assets from all directions. That's not neccessarily a bad thing until you start to imprison yourself in it or you start trying to control OTHER people's lives.
You are who you are and if it makes you feel better to have a whole map in front of you instead of going road sign by road sign then there's nothing I can see that's wrong with it. If others are bothered by it because it inconveniences them and they're doing the eyeball roll thingy then ignore them. You do what you gotta do.
As far as your friends being secretive about something is concerned-I'm with you on that one. I'd be bothered by it too as would a lot of other people. There's nothing abnormal or controlling about that one.
Quit second guessing yourself.
Okay-so you like getting into details-you're a detail oriented person. Nothing wrong with it.
Yeah, you could go with the flow and you'd know which way the flow came from how fast it was going and how fast it's going to leave and in what direction. Gotta love it!!!
