My pdoc always asks how are you. I told her one time I'm fine when I really wasn't and she said that's not very convincing and I said well its the socially acceptable answer and she said well we aren't social. She said when your shrink asks you how you are they really want to know. So I guess that's the only time I'm ever really asked how I am is when I pay someone to ask that.
