yep that's what u're on-a roller coaster. when we first get sober we are flooded with emotions cause we previously stuffed them and used an escape-alcohol. by sharing this at meetings you will receive the support you need. those of us in recovery can relate to feeling that way in our early recovery. you may want to consider more meetings a week too. it can reinforce a positive way of living.
give yourself the opportunity to embrace your sobriety. change the ways of dealing with adversity. it's not the emotion that will get you, it's how you respond to it.
