I think you are having rebound insomnia. I remember back when I was on geodon, I developed tolerance to it's sleep-inducing effects. After a while, I couldn't fall asleep without it. Then after even more time, I couldn't even fall asleep WITH it. Your body adjust to having so much sedatives in your system, and as a result it becomes harder and harder to fall asleep.
