I see a therapist through my local community mental health center. I like her well enough and I don't have issues with transference with her, which is a plus. However, she seems to forget details about me pretty often. I've been seeing her for about 3 and a half months and I had to remind her today that I live in an apartment, not a dorm. She has also recently forgotten how old I am by a few years and some other details. I will sometimes have to explain the details of a certain situation 3 or 4 times over as many sessions, because she forgets them. Is it abnormal for her to be forgetting this kind of information or am I being too sensitive?
