With budget cuts the way they are at so many places, your T may have a pretty heavy case load. There may not be a lot of time between clients, either, so what there is must be devoted to writing up the last session--not reviewing for the next one.

But it's an issue that would bug the daylights out of me--enough to maybe interfer with my therapy even. I'd ask. It's not something I'd let annoy me--& I urge you to be blunt about it. I can't imagine any T minding. It's not a personal question, it's just finding out how busy the practice really is.
