I'm not sure what topic to post this under but, I was so aggravated today. I went for an interview supposedly for something I wasn't qualified to do. I talked briefly to the interviewer on the phone asking if he could tell me about the position. He just said nonchalantly, "It's no big deal", just come between 1-4, and I don't care if you dress up or not". Ok, I thought, he was rushing me off the phone. I found it on CareerBuilder. The job was Part-time at a place called "Carolina Ballet". All the ad said was "customer service" position. When I got there, he asked me if I've ever been to theater, or ballet, or arts. I replied, "No, I haven't". Then he said I needed sales experience, it is a very competitive job, again I wasn't told this beforehand,a and that I needed to know something about theater at least to know how they worked. I replied aggressively to him that I wish he would of told me this before I went down there. All he could say is he apologized, I'm sorry. I always ask questions before, so I don't waste anyone's time, well he wasted mine. With gas being almost $4 a gallon here, I even had to borrow money to get to the interview from a neighbor, that's embarrassing in itself. I think he acted so unprofessionally towards me, I wish I could've spoken to his boss. I want to give up looking for a job, and just give up on myself, life.
