Our individual experiences in therapy are going to be individual and we only get one experience with one therapist at a certain (one) period of time in our lives. I think, if you are not feeling like your therapy at this time is very useful to you, you should stop and see if you are okay without it or if you want to try again, maybe with a different therapist or at a different time in your life. Maybe read books about how to communicate with one's husband or try other similar ideas of how to help yourself feel better for awhile, see if something else is more effective for you.
