Could that have something to do with the cookies settings in your browser? "Remember me" works consistently for me
except on the rare occasions when my anti-spybot app has found and removed something suspicious. Then I find myself logged out of all or most my "Remember me" sites and have to log in again.

It's been a while since I tried any "skins" other than the basic (default?) one I started with. I seem to remember that the "Forum Skin" selector in
Edit Options has worked more reliably for me than the one at the bottom left of every forums page. With the "Edit Options" one you do need to save changes.

I don't remember seeing any way to save your font preferences when you're posting. Font size when you're reading is usually a browser setting.
