Thanks everybody - I knew from my recruiter that "soft" skills and communication skills were really important in this interview - that's why they've rejected other candidates, so on my way to the interview I kept repeating "I am likeable, I am friendly, I have lots of friends IRL and On-line, Remember to smile a lot." LOL at the last one.
I think the interview went ok - or at least I don't think I screwed anything up too badly, I remembered to smile and make eye contact with both interviewers. I was able to answer most questions pretty easily. I had a really good answer to what is your weakness, that my recruiter had suggested I use. They didn't ask about the gaps in my resume or why I had left any of my previous positions.
I called my recruiter and she said a couple of things were positive - that the interview had lasted close to an hour, and that they'd told me who the interviewers were for the second round of interviews. She says they normally don't do that if they're not interested in you.
So I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get called back for a second interview.
