So my bestfriend is awesome for the most part. Since she moved away we don't talk as much I know she's busy working, making friends and is single and child free. I'm a stay at home mom looking for full time work, the other day we were texting and she told me that anytime we talk we talk about unimportant things and she's concerned about me. My response was sorry I don't have more exciting things to entertain you with, my son is the most important thing in my life.
We spoke over the phone the next day and it was a decent conversation but what she said really pissed me off. Today she told me she's coming in town next month my response was maybe I'll have important things to talk about by the time you get here. I don't expect her to understand what it means to be a responsible parent since her other friends manage their bar times around the needs of their child but I did expect a nicer statement then what I had to talk about was unimportant to her. Just pissed me off.
