I have changed out the entire faucet in the kitchen sink. All I have is one more connection to make. It is the flexable tubing to the valve under the sink and guess what! The valve that is there was bought at the special plumbers store that plumbers buy from which provides fittings and valves that ARE NOT available at any place that a do-it-yourselfer can go to. The stupid thing's size no longer fits ANY coupling/bolt thingy that is known to man. It was bought from satan by a plumber who sold his soul to the devil hoping that he would be able to keep us peons from ever doing a plumbing job EVER. ARGH! Now I am going to go to the hardware store and get a new valve which is what I was going to do in the first place but the evil hardware man said that the thing I just bought would most definately work. HA! I was fooled. I should know better. They are all in collusion. But I am now going to go to the hardware store and find the valve and I am going finish the blasted job despite them and their evil ways. I am just afraid that I am not going to be able to get the old valve off the steel pipe, which will suck because I have to turn off the water to the whole house to do it and I don't really want to be stuck without water until my hubby can get his brawny body home from work and do it for me at 11:00 at night. Cross your fingers for me.

<font color=green>But the implicit and usually unconscious bargain we make with ourselves is that, yes, we want to be healed, we want to be made whole, we're willing to go some distance, but we're not willing to question the fundamental assumptions upon which our way of life has been built, both personally and societally.--Bill Plotkin, Soulcraft
