I'm on board with the idea that love at first sight is prob. Lust at first sight...but there's no telling what that could turn into...one in a million could happen any day and a love at first sight could develop into a soulmate! I once heard that Men fall in love with the Woman they are attracted to, and Women become attracted to the Man they love...
Not a huge fan of the blatant generalization...and the hetero-centeredness of that statement...but it seems to be true for many men and women I've known.
Soooooo...mayhaps love @ first sight is a thing for guys to believe in and soulmate is for the ladies
I never believed in either, but now with my husband, I do believe in soulmates...and if u ask him, he'd probably say it was love at first sight
Ps. Ask me in 20 yrs if I still believe in soulmates...we have been together for "only" 7 years so far...
