the first thought that came to my mind was the physical harm. not the mental harm. i'd be scared that someone would not be truthful about their sexual health and especially if the partners are coming from groups at bars, etc. stds can really harm your physical health and some can cause you, the woman, to become sterile.

for the mental part....hmmmmmmmmm. i don't think i know anyone who swings, but i wouldn't judge it. i really couldn't do it because to me sex is also about love and respect.

it does sound as if it is bothering you enough to have a good sitdown talk with your husband and also with a T. you're having some doubts about it and no one should ever do anything that they feel uneasy about doing. i wish you luck in this....xoxoxo pat
