I am plagued with these murderous things in my mouth all the time. Dentist said I was sensitive to Sodium laurel sulfate which makes toothpaste foamy. Makes sense, since some shampoos with it in it make my scalp break out too!

BUT I was on yahoo answers the other day to get home remidies for the one i have right now, which is AWFUL (you know the tooth directly behind your eye tooth on the bottom row o the right side? mines RIGHT THERE so it rubs on it constantly) because it is actually one huge one with several little ones surrounding it.

Someone suggested rubbing a bit of sugar on it and said sugar was a natural anesthetic! Well, I tried, better than rinsing with salt water like I have been (shiver) and, it worked! It did numb it out quite nicely! Nothing like anbesol or anything mind you, but nonetheless it is numb enough that I can not notice it and not be in constant pain!

Plus, sugar tastes good and I have an excuse to eat little bits of sweetness every little while. I used to love eating sugar cubes as a kid :P
