years ago, i worked in the non-profit area in membership. i left because it did not pay well and i was having trouble keeping up with the new marketing technologies. being older, they did not come naturally. i left to return to being a paralegal but that has not gone well at all.

i had been working as a temp doing concierge work. but, my feet have always been bad and the more i worked the worse they got. i saw the podiatrist this week and, because my feet are so oddly sized and shaped that i cannot get shoes, it seemed that a job off of my feet was becoming a necessity so that some foot injuries would heal.

yesterday, i accepted a part-time job membership / fundraising telemarketing for a wonderful non-profit in the arts. so, i am back to the non-profit world. the pay may not be great but the people are much, much nicer than lawyers! i pray it works out.
