I agree, not all stereotyping is negative, or "wrong."

But I have a real irksome reaction to most of it, especially with jokes about any particular grouping... when the jokes only put them down.

Stereotypical jokes about a group that I am in, but are truthful, are a fun way to not take ourselves so seriously, however. (Such as all Outdoorsy woods people carry a spark starter on their keychain.) hehehe
