I never recognized these moments as relating to mania until recently, but there have been lots of times in my life when I've sat there going "moon, spoon, June, tune" and other rhyming words, as many as I can think of, until I'm laughing my *** off at my own silliness. I think they call that "clanging". This is also when I get wildly creative and make up all new lyrics to popular songs, most of which are either funny (to me) or profane, and which I wish I'd get in the habit of writing down so I can remember them.
