Again, why 'manipulative'? What is underhand about this idea? The poster wrote about openly and transparently asking T to quit their job and live with them. The T is free to say yes or no. There is no implied attempt to obtain what they want by controlling the T or using underhand methods.

Indeed. Clearly someone doesn't understand what manipulation implies.
And it was a question. I never said I'd do that. If I won the lottery I doubt I'd tell my T. As a matter of fact, I'd have no reason to even need therapy anymore.
