I got diagnosed 3/2011. I am a self-taught makeup artist and hair stylist that went into it because I love what I do and get paid pretty well. You can make money doing what you love. Don't look into doing anything for the money. I am now pursuing medicine. I am planning on applying this year and I'm 37 with 2 boys that are 10 and 17. So if you do the math, I started way early. I always loved medicine but after high school I was all over the place. I went to major fashion design because I was getting too much pressure from my family to do medicine even though I did like it and by accident I found I had a talent for makeup and hair. It's never too late to do anything. You can do it all! Just focus on one thing at a time. I know it's hard to determine what is the "right" thing to do, but what ever you decide is the right thing to do at that time. Every body has a journey and you need to start somewhere. I have my ups and downs and I'm currently in sort of a yucky place because I'm stressed studying for MCATs and I missed working out over the weekend and I drank at a party. And of course on top of all that I'm eating unhealthy. All that combined is not effecting me very well. I realize this and I just need to fix it. If I don't exercise regularly I eat bad and then the downward spiral.

You won't know until you try something out. Just go for it.
