Some people will dislike you regardless of what you say, do, think, look like, etc. forever til the end of time. It's the way people are. You can't control other people and their reactions. But you can help yourself. I was thinking not of others but of
you when I suggested that you relieve some of the pressure on yourself by being real in your emotions. I saw the 'worst case scenario' as your present life. You'll want to be careful about using expressions like "[not a] very bright idea" when people offer you ideas because it comes off as being arrogant and disparaging and I'm sure you didn't mean to be arrogant and disparaging to me.
