I'm in a slightly similar position. I'm off work on medical leave for 4 weeks with no sick time so no income. Not sure I can safely return to that job, not sure if there's any job that will be right for me. It's a scary place to be. Take a little time to settle yourself down, then work on educating yourself on what other jobs may be available in your area. The job market is tough, but you may find something that's the right fit.
