At my last appointment at the pdoc's (Tuesday) we had to work on another med change.. and WALLA, she looks at me and says 'if anything I would change your dx because you just don't fit the Bipolar criteria. Meds aren't doing much for you. I'm going to put it as Bipolar NOS.' I said great so now what? She told me that the Bipolar traits I do have are the overlapping traits of Borderline.. So she then proceeded to say that since I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder... yeah that's where she lost me.. I don't remember a thing she said after that.. I was validated! Took me a whole year and med after med to get her to see that my T and I knew what we were talking about.. Now on to treating the correct dx..
