Welcome to PC, Tamar09!
It is a struggle and some days more than others. It took some time to find a balance and lately has been thrown out whack being sick, but I have help with providers (therapist "T" and "pdoc"- psychiatrist), the school disabilities office, the support of family and friends, and vocational rehab to help with work. It has been learning to work with the MI (mental illness), knowing the limitations, finding strengths and weaknesses, taking care of myself and knowing when to ask for help. I couldn't do it without the medications and the support network around me. Due to the MI, finding a T and a pdoc were important first steps to get the MI better leveled out. This is what allowed me to return to school and function better in a working environment. I started off slow, taking a class, then a couple more until I could handle more. It is a constant struggle but am doing better now than was before thanks to T and pdoc, family, friends including PC friends.

I'm not sure if I answered your question for what you were looking for, and am sorry if not and for misunderstanding. This is what I have been doing to get through school and work. I know what it it is like to struggle with both and hope you find the answers you need. Are there some supports around you, T, counselor, family, etc. that can help?
