Hi susie! I know with my bipolar 2 I have the same problem. When I am mad I try to wait to respond. If something really tics me off I have a hard time waiting but I am working on identifying my feelings. Several times I have told my hsband or kids that I am in a bad mood and don't why so if I act grumpy that it's not them. Of course it's a work in progress. When you are feeling something other than happy just practice thinking before you speak. Like I said you have to practice at this and it will get easier.
