Honestly, what does society have against someone crying? Why is it every time someone cries in public, there's always some kindly person trying to make them stop? Crying is a basic human right, but I can't do it in public for fear of attracting attention and making people uncomfortable. Thus, I'm forced to store up my feelings until I get a chance to escape to a private place and let it all pour out. It often takes hours and I have to awaken those feelings by either reciting depressing thoughts out loud or expressing verbally to imaginary apparitions or listening to a sad song. This may sound emo, but afterward, I feel sooooo relieved like I can go on with my life. Crying is very therapeutic, so why is it shunned as something negative? Why isn't it accepted?
