It does sound like you are having some trouble with managing your anger.

Do you have a history of repressing your emotions (stuffing them inside of you)? Or is this anger issue completely new to you?

I do think that seeing a T would be very helpful to you. You can learn why you're having anger management dificulty as well as healthy techniques to work through your emotions, before you reach BOOM stage. My brother used to hit telephone poles and walls with his fists, shouting profanties, and he'd say that it was better than going off on his girlfriends. That turned out not to be true. What he was doing is emotional abuse and it's a very slippery road. It's NOT okay behavior.

Good for you for noticing this tendency within yourself and asking why. That really is way ahead of my brother. So, kudos to you! Take the next step forward and get help to work through your emotions in a healthy way.
