I stopped taking zanax after taking 1mg per day for 8 years. I also decided to taper Rapidly off a huge amount of opiods that I had been taking for a severe neckinjury. I got to the point hwere they no longer worked and I wasn't willing to up the dose. I ended up in the ER due to my feet sweeting and tingling (pins and needle). It was to the point where I couldn't sleep and was losing a lot of fluid due to the amount of sweet. At the ER I answered all the questions and the Doctor gave me Clonopin. It worked great for a few weeks and then the symptomscame back but not nearly as severe. I was wonder ing how long will these symptoms last. I have had blood work done, my doctor finds no other issues. It's just a literal Pain as it only really happens when I lay down. Some people tell me it could last months due to the amount of time I tookthe zanax. Anyone know????????
