I need a little input and advice. Today my doctor put me on prozac ( tomorrow morning should be my first day). After coming home and reading all the side effects such as weight gain, low sex drive and sleep troubles. I can not understand why he chose prozac for me beause I told him I have gained 10 pounds in the last couple months, that i have no sex drive and i have suffered insomia for years, along with all the issues i am having. Im upset that I will conitue to gain weight, that ill never sleep again and that with my husband returing home for overseas i will have no interest at all in sex.

If anyone has taken or is on prozac please let me know if these are very common side effects or what you went through while using it. Thank you in advance! Lo
