I have noticed (or rather been bothered by) a change in myself recently. I keep having to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, at least 3 or 4 times and I'm constantly exhausted. I've also noticed that I'm really itchy with no rash or explanation.
I was aware of the toilet thing being a symptom of diabetes, but it was only when I did a quick search that I realised itching was also a symptom of Type 1 diabetes.
I didn't even think you could get symptoms so quickly, I thought it was a more gradual thing.
I'm a bit nervous about this. I'm currently on medication for anxiety and depression (my anti depressants have recently been changed). I'm a bit reluctant to find out as the reality of having Type 1 diabetes scares me. I have a massive phobia of needles and don't cope well with change.
Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
edit: on reading a bit about it I also saw another symptom of injuries not healing as quick... which is also apparent.
