I agree with what's been said. I wouldn't say it's "normal" and I wouldn't say it's "abnormal". It is listed in a lot of lists out there as a symptom of depression but it could ALSO be a result of many other things (including ED's and other physical causes). Always best to talk to a doctor about it if you're in doubt. Have you had a basic physical screening yet, where your hormone levels/vitamin levels are checked? Funny thing, is that these physical causes can not only cause weight loss/gain and appetite chanes, but depression as well. So if you are able, it's always best to double check with your doctor.

My appetite fluctuates a lot with my depression too, although I tend to be a bit more ED thinking than I normally care to admit, so I'm not sure I'm a good example
