I don't know if it is appropriate to ask T about plans for her practice and retirement. I have never been so afraid of losing a T before until now. One T's partners is retiring. They started their practice together and are the same age, which dawned on me she might be getting closer to it as well. She has said in the interim the office is just moving to a different suite and I know my T is still taking classes and seminars to improve skills, which indicates to me is not retiring immediately; however it just did not occur to me until now that she is ACTUALLY at retirement age.

She is the first T that calls me out on any B.S. and avoidance, stopping me in my tracks. I appreciate this T more than I can say. I would love to talk to her about it, but don't know if it is appropriate or should I just take things as they come?! What would you do?
