He is your husband, supposed to be there for you. Tell him , that hurts me when you non-chalantly say to do something about my depression, I want it to go away, but it doesnt. Tell him you love him and just need some extra tenderness right now. I really hope it gets a little better for you and have had similar expressions from people in the past and it does not feel good. He can be educated on the subject, maybe that would help.
