Get angry that you feel so bad for so long. Refuse to feel that way anymore. Think of something to do or somewhere to go, anything, and then put it into motion.
I was lost and lonely/alone in a zoo one day and challenged myself, "what would you like, right now?" and the answer came to me, "an ice cream cone" :-) But, it was a Sunday back in the 1970's and I had no stores near me selling ice cream cones; but I figured out how to get one, I went to the grocery store and bought cones and bought ice cream and a scoop and made my own! By the time I was finished my ice cream cone, a couple hours later (spent time researching ice cream parlors in my area first, to see if that could work and that meant using the phone book, no Internet yet :-) my mood had shifted enough that I could move on by myself.
