Thing is getting a new doc, if we get blown off, can be easier said than done. With HMO's depending on how many docs are available, the one's with best reputations usually aren't taking new patients. If you live rural it's even worse. If you have to change ins co's for whatever reason alot of the time you are forced to change docs & we might get a moron, as you say.

Anyway, these are some of the aspects we face as patients/laypersons.
