When I read your post I thought of this quote I really like
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.”

It seems to me you have come to the point where the idea of moving on and maybe seeing a new T is important. I wouldn't simply just let it all go I find this is rarely possible but maybe try figure out what lessons you could take from that experience to move forward in your journey.
