When I first in trepidation announced myself to the PsychCentral folks, I recall getting several "hello" or "welcome" type pics/ fancy designs from some folks. I thought that approach was very nice.

I also like it when newbies are addressed more personally by some comment or reaction to the content of their message. Maybe even being directed to appropriate fora and mentored in a sense, so they won't get lost in the shuffle.

Therefore, I am wondering if some folks could be appointed to serve on a commitee, if you will, to post "hello" pics and also some folks could be appointed to make sure that the newbies receive a personal message and help.

Of course, other folks who desire could certainly say "hello" as well.

Would that approach be workable?

By the way, I do like the "workshops" in the chat room as an introduction to the ends and outs!

Thanks for your consideration!
