Yes, and you are as person first, who just happens to have a mental illness. There are sone interesting studies done on bipolar and positive traits. We all do differ, but on the list was empathetic, creative, realism ( though we might laugh at that ) resilience, and spirituality.

Just a reminder that although Bipolar is tough, and we have our flaws, we all do have some very good traits as well. Including you! I imagine that with all the negative bipolar talk, that it would make it extra hard for you to deal with this.
