I was diagnosed with ADD when I was in third grade, and I can tell you that its not as bad as you think. If your doctor doesnt thnk its bad enough for you to take meds, then youre in a pretty good spot. Dont listen to the jokes, because there are a ton of people out there who have add/adhd, but havent been diagnosed. This is only a DISORDER not a SICKNESS. pay attention to your doctor and choose carefully if you do end up on meds, because I can tell you the side effects on some are not fun at all. But remember that being diagnosed with ADD doesnt make you a different person. A diagnosis just tells you that you have the disorder. It doesnt give it to you.
Good luck, and all respect.
