Does he work? You two have a kid, so he needs to be bringing in some money. You say he plays video games all the time? Does he spend any time with you? Is it enough? It sounds like he's not being responsible.

You say he doesn't want you to do anything. Do you mean work, go to college, or something else? He doesn't have to want you to do anything. You do what you need to do for you and your child.

I understand you don't want to break up, but if he doesn't grow up and treat you and the child right, you've got to do what you need to do without him.

BUT...make sure he pays child support if you do leave him. That's for your child, and he is required to pay it. If he's ordered to pay it and doesn't, take him back to court.

You can't make him change. He has to do it himself. He has a family now, and he needs to be a man. You can only do what is best for you and your child.
