I used a "trick" when I heard "voices" --- you have to use your imagination.
I put a "face" on the voices. It wasn't a real CLEAR face but I could tell if they were male or female. I could also tell how MANY voices there were.
Then I pictured a clear, plexiglas wall. Next to this wall was a button that I could push. Whenever these voices started, I could push this button and this clear plexiglas wall would go up in front of these voices and all of a sudden I couldn't hear the voices anymore!!!! IT WORKED! I could still SEE them talking but I couldn't HEAR them. This is all imaginary, but it WORKED. My shrink said it was an EXCELLENT idea. Maybe it would work for you too!!!
It really does quiet the voices if you really concentrate!!! Give it a try -- it might work for you too. I sure hope so! God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee
