Not sure if this is triggering, but warning just in case. So lately I've been feeling way suicidal than normal, and some of my friends have been in psychiatric hospitals before and said it helped them alot. I told my therapist that all this week I was suicidal and all she said was do you want to sign a safety contract, lets just talk, blah blah blah. She's a good psychologist but I kinda want to go to an inpatient psychiatric place so I can get the immediate help that I need, since therapy only helps you over time. I brought it up, but she just brushed it off and started talking more about the feelings. How do I tell her next week that I actually think I could benefit from one, and I think it's the only way I can get help fast enough? I think I can hold on until next week but I cant hold on these next few months for the therapy to really start working. Sorry this is so long, but thoughts?
