I am in my 40's and have cut since my children were very small they are all in there 20's now. They kinda grew up with it seeing the long shirts and scars. They have never really talked to me about it. They always went to their mom with the questions. She has told me that she always told them what their age appropriate answers. Dont know if that helps.
