It is good that you want to meet kids and are working on a plan to do that.

Please consider, though, that school might not have to be as stressing as it was in the past. It might be possible to be in a less stressful environment.

My suggestion is to inquire what it could be like in a school in your area, and how school can help with your learning disability. Have you been tested to assess how you best learn? Such tests would help the school decide how best to help you.

Do you ever have contact with anyone at a school? If not, how does the school know that a homeschooled student is making good progress?
